Terms and Conditions
These terms cover the tutoring sold on onephysicist.com. The teaching is provided by Moonshot Operations sp. z o.o., ul. Grzybowska 87, 00-844 Warsaw, Poland, registered in the Polish National Court Register under KRS 0000914524, NIP 5272966765, REGON 389633330, referred to below as “I” and “me”.
What is sold
One-to-one tutoring in physics and mathematics, taught live by me, for students preparing for examinations including the IB Diploma, A-Levels, IGCSE, AP, the SAT and ACT, university admissions papers and first-year university courses.
Lessons are taught over Discord. If Discord will not open on the day, the lesson is taught over Google Meet instead. No recording is made of a lesson.
What is bought
- A single lesson of sixty or ninety minutes, on a date agreed between us.
- A monthly arrangement, either sixty or ninety minutes every week at a fixed hour. The ninety-minute arrangement also includes any open hour in my calendar, in any week an additional lesson is wanted.
A monthly arrangement is charged by the month, not by the lesson. The price does not change with the number of lessons a particular month happens to contain.
Prices and payment
Prices are set in US dollars and shown in local currency in some countries. Every price shown includes any tax due; the amount displayed is the amount charged.
Payment is taken by Paddle.com Market Ltd, who are the merchant of record for every sale. Paddle sell to you and I supply the teaching. Your receipt and your card statement show Paddle rather than me.
An hour is reserved when it is paid for. A monthly arrangement renews each month until it is cancelled.
Changing or cancelling
A monthly arrangement can be cancelled at any time from the link in your Paddle receipt. It continues to the end of the month already paid for and does not renew after that.
A lesson can be moved. Tell me at least twenty-four hours before it starts, through the chat or by replying to any message from me, and I will find another hour. Inside those twenty-four hours the hour is already held for you and cannot be given to anybody else, so a lesson moved late, or missed without warning, counts as taught.
Refunds
Refunds are requested from and decided by Paddle, not by me. The refund policy sets this out in full, including the statutory right to withdraw that applies in the EU, the EEA, Switzerland and the UK.
