Refund Policy

Payment for every lesson sold on onephysicist.com is taken by Paddle.com Market Ltd, who are the merchant of record. This matters for refunds, because it means the decision is not mine.

Who decides

Refunds are requested from Paddle and decided by Paddle. You can ask them for one if you are not happy, and it is not in my power to stop it. I am not in that loop.

A refund is requested through the receipt Paddle sent you, or directly at paddle.net, where you can look up your purchase using the email address you paid with.

The statutory right to withdraw

In the European Union, the European Economic Area, Switzerland and the United Kingdom you have a statutory right to withdraw from the purchase within fourteen days. This right exists in law and does not depend on my agreement or on Paddle’s discretion.

Outside those places a refund is at Paddle’s discretion under their own terms. I do not promise a refund I have no power to grant.

Monthly arrangements

A monthly arrangement is cancelled at any time from the link in your receipt. It runs to the end of the month already paid for and does not renew. Cancelling stops future charges; it is not the same as a refund of a month already taught.

If a lesson does not happen

If I cannot teach a lesson, it is rescheduled or refunded, whichever you prefer. If you cannot make one, tell me at least twenty-four hours ahead and I will move it. A lesson missed without warning counts as taught, because the hour was held and nobody else could take it.

Reaching me

If something has gone wrong, tell me first through the chat on onephysicist.com. Most things are quicker to put right directly than through a refund.
